Yelloooooowwww! It's me Yuki who's going to share our short visit in Onuma Quasi-National Park...<3

During our journey to Hakodate, Onuma Park emerged as an impromptu stop along the way. Our Sensei came nearby the Park to visit his old friend, a moment that coincided beautifully with our own opprotunity to immerse ourselves in the serene expanse of Onuma Koen. This park proved to be one of the best destinations for recreational pursuits such as cycling and leisurely jogging. There were several conveniently located shops that offered bicycle rental services, which made it easy for people who would like to cycle around in the Onuma National Park.

Upon reaching the information center, we get to know that there are actually a lot of summer activities that we can do in the Onuma Park, sadly our lack of preparedness and the late hour of our arrival dimmed our chance of enjoying these amazing summer activities. But I really really wanted to try the Sightseeing Boat!!! The pond view is mesmerizing, and I believe that canoeing with friends could be so fun too!!! Let's hope we can come again in the future. By the way, be aware with the phone number in the picture, certain activities may require early reservation, more information you can access from the Onuma Koen Official Website. http://onumakouen.com/en/

Nestled within Onuma Koen, we stumbled upon a quaint and traditional JR train station, a sight that caught us off guard. Given the rural nature of this area, the discovery of a vintage JR station seemed like an unexpected treasure. We sat down together and reveled in the enchanting waves of nostalgia that surrounded us, while waiting for the train to come. We observed fellow tourists with backpacks, standing and starring at the railway tracks. In that shared moment, guess I am not the only one who misses home - a sentiment that transcends borders and brings travelers together in a poignant bond of understanding.

Continuing our journey to the next destinations, just as we were about to step foot inside the Onuma Quasi National Park, a gentle rain began to grace us with its presence, drizzling. Thankfully, the Park Information Center had a thoughtful provision of umbrellas available for borrowing, allowing us to meander through the park despite the rain. Wrapped in the soft embrace of these borrowed umbrellas, we embraced the opportunity to savor the cool touch of the raindrops against our skin, providing a refreshing contrast to the warmth of the summer air.

At the same time, there was a shop whereby their icecream has attracted our eyeballs. One of the flavors was made by squid ink, giving it a blackish appearance and milky taste. I ordered this blend of wine-flavored squid ink cause who would'nt like the 'BlackPink' powerrr!!!

Look at our friend Harry, he was very satisfied with his squid ink ice cream and smiled like a happy kiddo. The day was gradually getting darker, it was time for us to head back our dormitory. Despite not having had the chance to fully wander through the Park, the enchantment of Onuma Park had woven a spell around us, leaving us yearning for a future return to bask in its natural wonders once more.
